Pradeep Nair is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University. He has a vast experience of 20 years spanning various sectors. He started his career at Bank of America and spent the next 12 years in banking with his last position being Head of client services & relationship manager for Private banking, India at RBS Coutts. He then went to Kitara capital (PE Fund) as Director – Business Development. He is a Director in a real estate company along with having co-founded Cygen Infotech – an information technology company. Prior to joining IDHS, he was the CEO for India & Africa operations of a US based medical devices company called POC medical systems.
Sripad has been associated with the Banking Industry for well over 3 decades having commenced his career with an Indian Bank and then worked in leading Multinational banks such as Barclays, HSBC and Commerzbank in senior leadership roles in India and the Middle East. His last assignment in Barclays Dubai was as a Regional Director and Head of Institutional Trade Finance for Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. He has extensive experience in setting up new business units. He is currently Founder and Partner of Cygen Infotech LLP, a country distribution partner of Celframe Inc. USA. He also has business interests in oil & gas consultancy. Sripad holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant and has Banking Qualifications to his credit. He has been a regular speaker at various international trade finance conferences.
